CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) would be offering psychological counselling before the Class X board exams as a way to help students manage stress related to the exam. Till April 29th, the counselling services would be provided through the Board’s website and helpline, which would start from Thursday. The centralized CBSE helpline with the toll-free number 1800118004 could be accessed from all parts of the country, which could be availed by the students as per the latest circular released by the board. The operation helpline would be active from 8 am to 10 pm.  From the affiliated CBSE schools across the country and abroad, 90 principals and trained counsellors would offer the counselling. As per the circular, the counselling would be provided free of cost to the students, with queries being answered by operators regarding exam-related stress.

For differently-abled students, there would be told-counselling in an organized manner, and it would be provided by four special educators for students around the country. Finally, there would be online counselling provided at counselling.cecbse@gmail.com, along with easy-to-follow advice on the Board website to deal with exam stress.
