CBSE Schools that are currently affiliated or to be affiliated under the board would have to reveal the important details like fees, infrastructure, safety measures and the academic qualification of the teaching faculties. It should be noted that the schools are supposed to upload these information both in their own site along with the CBSE site.
In a notice circulated by the Deputy Secretary Affiliation, schools are expected to upload these details by the end of November. In addition to the above details, the board has asked the schools to provide details like student enrollment, balance sheets, audit reports and important events on the academic calendar.
Another notable feature about this new notification is that, schools should upload a five minute video that would have a panoramic view of the school campus showing classroom images, science laboratories, libraries and school libraries.
The board has asked schools to specify the speed of Wi-Fi internet viz. the Mbps and any online training if offered by the latter. Extra facilities provided by the schools like canteens, hostels and sports training etc should be listed in the report.
Regarding school fees, the schools have to specify the amount charged class wise and the breakup of the fees on category wise for students where the category would be like monthly fee, development charges, admission fee and building fund.
