The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold re-exam for Class 10 Maths and Class 12 Economics after reports came of an alleged leak of the question paper. As per as the official notice the exam dates for Class 10 maths and Class 12 Economics will be put up on the official CBSE website, i.e. cbse.nic.in, within a week.
The board issued a circular today which stated the re-examination of Class 10 Maths and Class 12 Economics paper. CBSE has taken notice of some happenings in the conduction of certain exams as are being reported. In the interest of the fairness to the students, CBSE has decided to conduct the examinations again.
This change will affect over 28 lakh CBSE students. A total of 16,38,428 students registered for Class 10 examination and 11,86,306 students registered for Class 12 examination. According to sources, the panic was triggered after the Class 12 Economics was circulated to some WhatsApp groups a day before the exam.
