The Term 2 board exam of Class 10 Science has been scheduled for 10th May 2022 by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The total scoring of Term 1 and Term 2 will derive the final scoring out of 100.
Both the Term 1 and Term 2 exams have a weightage of 50% each.

Revision Tips for Class 10 Term 2 Science Exam
- Understand the exam pattern and attempt a good amount of sample papers for term 2 Science Board exam for class 10 for better understanding of the type of questions CBSE expects students to attempt.
- The subject is divided into 3 parts, physics, chemistry and biology. Focus on one part first and then move on to the next.
Subject wise instruction:
- Physics:
- Since physics is a formula, theorem, and fact-based subject, it is important to understand the concepts behind them properly.
- Practice the questions rather than skimming through them.
- It’s advisable to revise the formulas once, before you sleep every night till the exam.
- Chemistry:
- Clear your concepts and be well-versed with the data given in NCERT so that preparation becomes easier.
- To make learning more fun, make sentences (mnemonic devices) using the first letter of every compound and acid in the periodic table. This helps in making the learning quick.
- Practice the questions consistently to increase the speed and accuracy.
- Biology:
- Practice drawing neat and clean diagrams of the human anatomy and that of other organisms (botanical or other).
- It’s advisable to write and learn the complex terminologies to avoid spelling mistakes while writing the exam.
- Unlike other subjects, there is no such thing as cramming in science. It’s a very logical subject therefore there is need to understand all the concepts properly, otherwise it won’t be easy to conduct the questions.
Instructions for the exam day
- Read all the instructions which are written on the question paper carefully.
- Mention all your details, like roll number etc on the space provided.
- Tie all the sheets in a proper order and re check the numbering of the question before submitting the answer sheet to the invigilator.
- Reach the exam venue on time to avoid any kind of disturbance.
- Take care of Covid-19 as well as exam guidelines.
- Wear a face mask and carry your own hand sanitizer.
- Do not bring banned items like, digital watch, chits etc, in the exam hall.
- Do not forget to take a printed copy of your ID card.
