National Eligibility Test (NET) is a central examination held to determine the eligibility of assistant professors in the recognized universities. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released Admit Card for University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is conducting the NET exam (National Eligibility Test) on behalf of the UGC (University Grants Commission) on 5th November 2017.
Along with determining the eligibility of assistant professors in recognized institutes, NET is also a qualifying entrance exam for different Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) programmes in various universities in India.
The CBSE UGC NET Admit Card released for the November 5 examination is available on the official CBSE NET website: cbsenet.nic.in. Candidates must be aware that the Admit Card can be downloaded only via online mode. CBSE will not send any admit card via post. The official notification of CBSE states that no candidate will be allowed for the examination or in the examination centre without their NET Admit Card.
Qualifying Criteria of the NET
The University Grants Commission has revised their procedure and qualifying criteria for the candidates and has decided to take 6% of the total number of candidates who have appeared for the exam. These candidates will be declared qualified.
How to Download CBSE UGC NET 2017 Admit Card
To download the admit card, the candidates can follow the given steps mentioned:
- Visit the official website, i.e. cbsenet.nic.in
- Click on the admit card link that is provided
- Enter the necessary details that are required
- Submit the details
Once the details entered are submitted correctly, the admit card will be displayed on the screen for the candidate to download. The candidates are advised to check all the information that is printed on the admit card.
