The Government of India has established the IISERs (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) at Berhampur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirupati to integrate and promote interdisciplinary science education and research. The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) will be conducted as a computer-based test in centres across India.
