Rajasthan Patwari Exam Notification 2023

Latest Update: The Rajasthan Patwari Exam Date 2023 has been announced by the officials of RSMSSB. The RSMSSB Patwari Exam will be conducted on 23 and 24 October 2023. The Rajasthan Patwari 2023 Notification will be released soon. 

The last notification for the Rajasthan Patwari Exam 2021 (Earlier 2019) released on December 5, 2019. This was followed by the publication of the detailed advertisement on January 17, 2020. The exam notification was revised twice later and the number of vacancies for the Rajasthan Patwari post was further increased to 5610 on January 19, 2022. Rajasthan Patwari Exam Application Process 2023-2024

The Rajasthan Patwari Exam notification will soon be released. The Rajasthan Patwari Exam Date 2023 has been announced by the officials of RSMSSB. The RSMSSB Patwari Exam will be conducted on 23 and 24 October 2023.

The online registration to apply for the exam in 2021 started on January 20, 2020 and the registration window was closed on February 26, 2020. Later the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board reopened the application window on  July 15, 2021 and finally closed it on July 29, 2021. Candidates should follow the following steps to apply for the Rajasthan Patwari exam. 

  • Visit the official website of the RSMSSB i.e. rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘Recruitment Advertisement’ tab.
  • On the new page, look for the ‘Direct Recruitment of Patwari’ link and click on “Apply Online”.
  • A new page will be displayed. You can login using their ‘SSO ID’ and password to register for the exam. If you do not have an SSO ID, then you can click on ‘not a registered user’ and create a new account by registering yourself on sso.rajasthan.gov.in. A new SSO ID will be generated, which can be used to apply for the Rajasthan patwari exam 2023.
  • After logging in using your SSO ID, fill in the required details, upload a clear scanned photograph and your signature.
  • Preview the application and then click on ‘Submit’.
  • Pay the application fee online. Ensure that the  payment was successfully paid.
  • Download the PDF of the application and take the printout for future reference.

  • Eligibility: The Board mentioned the eligibility criteria in detail in the notification. This includes the age, nationality, educational and technical qualifications etc. The details of the eligibility criteria are given in the table below.

Eligibility Criteria Description
Age Minimum age: 18 years

Maximum age: 40 years
Nationality Candidates .who belong to the following nationalities can apply:

  1. Indian Citizens can apply

OR

  1. Nationals of Nepal can apply

OR

  1. Nationals of Bhutan can apply

OR

  1. Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962.

OR

  1. Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma Sri lanka,Ethiopia, Kenya etc to permanently settle in India

Note: Candidates other than Indian citizens have to provide necessary and relevant documents or certificates provided by the Government of India
Educational Qualification I.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Government and “O” or Higher Level certificate course conducted by NIELIT New Delhi/ DOEACC under control of the Department of Electronics, Government of India. 

                                                    OR

  • Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/ Data Preparation and Computer Software (DOCS) Certificate organized under the National/ State council or Vocational Training Scheme. 

OR

  • Degree/ Diploma/ in Computer Science/ Computer Application from a university established by law in India. 

OR

  • 3 Years Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a polytechnic institution recognized by law in India. 

OR

  • Degree in any stream of Engineering and Technology from a University established by Law in India. 

OR

  • Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota Under Control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited. 

OR

  • Senior Secondary Certificate from a recognized Board of Secondary Education in the Country With the Computer Science/ Computer Application as one of the Subjects. 

OR

  • Any Equivalent of Higher Qualification recognized by the Government

II.

  • Working Knowledge of Hindi Written Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
Other Requirements
  • Candidates should be physically and mentally fit
  • Candidates should have a good character. They should also produce a character certificate issued by the Principal or competent authority of the college/ institute that the candidate last attended.
  1. How to make changes/corrections in the online application?

If candidates want to make any changes or corrections in the online application form, then they should apply for the same within 7 days after the last date of registration/closure date.Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 300 to make corrections in their online application forms. Candidates cannot make changes in the following particulars:

  • Name of the Candidate
  • Name of the Father
  • Name of the Mother
  • Name of the Post (for which the candidate has applied)

Other particulars except the ones mentioned above can be changed by the candidate.

  1. Facility of a Scribe:

Candidates who fall under various categories mentioned in the Rajasthan Rights of Persons with Disabilities Rules, 2018, can avail the facility of a scribe. Candidates should carefully go through the detailed advertisement given on the official website to check whether they fulfil the requirements to avail this facility.
