The five facts about World War 2 were as follows:
- In 1941, more than 3 million cars were manufactured in the US. Only 139 more were made during the entire war.
- India provided the largest volunteer force than any other country in the world
- In total WWII claimed the lives of approximately 60 million people.
- Kamikaze aircrafts were manned by Japanese soldiers who were instructed to crash into Allied ships.
- The Marshall Plan gave $12 billion to Western European countries in economic turmoil caused by WWII.
