National Integration Day is celebrated each year on 19 November, and it is also known as Quami Ekta Diwas. It is celebrated to commemorate the birthday of the country’s first-ever female Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. The main aim behind celebrating the day is to encourage people about unity, peace, love, and brotherhood among them.
National Integration Day is celebrated every year in India by conducting a variety of programs and activities like Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme (ISYEP), National Integration Camp (NIC), National Youth Festival, National Youth Award and etc. Symposiums, seminars, cultural activities are organized to deal with issues related to national integration.
