In captivity, the lifespan of a snow leopard is 22 years. In the wild, because of the harsh environment, a snow leopard’s life span may be anything between 10 to 12 years.
Some snow leopards have also lived upto 25 years in captivity. Snow leopards are native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia and South Asia, a region known for its harsh winters and mountain ranges.
