The biggest bird in the world is the Ostrich. With the ability to run at 70 km/h, they are the fastest birds on land. They are farmed worldwide, particularly for their feathers as they are used as decoration and feather dusters.
Females can grow up to six feet and weigh more than 200 pounds, while males can reach nine feet tall and roughly 280 pounds.
