The Sangat Sabha was organised by Keshub Chandra Sen. It was an organization of the general public of individual devotees to spread common spiritual beliefs among its members.
Keshub Chandra Sen was a philosopher and social reformer who attempted to incorporate Christian theology within the framework of Hindu thought.
