Kerala EAM Engineering Entrance Exam 2016

Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical (KEAM) Common Entrance Exam 2016 for admission towards Engineering Courses will be conducted on 25 & 26 April 2016. CEE (Commissioner of Entrance Examination) has invited applications for the same. Admissions will be made to courses like B. Tech. [including B. Tech. (Agri. Engg.) & B. Tech. (Food Engg.) Courses under the Kerala Agricultural University, B. Tech. (Dairy Science & Tech.) & B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses under the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University.

The CEE will conduct separate Entrance Examinations for admission to Engineering Courses and Medical & Allied Courses. Aspirants applying for Engineering Courses can apply online on the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

KEAM 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with PCM (for all engineering courses) with minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and at least of 50% in total aggregate.

The candidates must be of minimum age of 17 years or above as on or before April 2016.

Academic Qualification Required

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, with 50% marks in Mathematics, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry altogether are eligible for admission.

25 April 2016 Monday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper I Chemistry & Physics
26 April 2016 Tuesday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper II Maths


 Application Fee for UR (unreserved) or General category candidates is Rs. 1000/-, SC candidates is Rs.500/-. There is no application fee necessary for ST candidates.

CEE exam will be held in the following districts of Kerala – Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thodupuzha, Kattappana, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Kasaragod and also in the cities of Mumbai, Ranchi, Shillong, New Delhi. The only exam centre outside India is in Dubai.

Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in two papers namely Paper I and II consisting of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics respectively. Each paper will consist of 120 questions with five suggestive answers. Each question is of 4 marks each. One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
