KVPY results are usually announced on the official website (kvpy.iisc.ernet.in) by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. KVPY 2021 result will be out for SA, SX and SB streams in the form of a merit list after the exam concludes on May 22, 2022. The candidates will be able to check their results by logging in to the results portal using their KVPY login and password.
The results of the examination are usually published in the month of April every year. However, due to the Coronavirus situation in the country, the KVPY results will be delayed this year. The exam will be held on May 22nd of 2022.

Steps to check KVPY 2021-22 Result
Students can follow these easy steps to check the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) result online:

Visit the official website, www.kvpy.iisc.ernet.in.

Click on the results link available on the home page along with the provisional list of students qualified for the aptitude test.

Students can also check the KVPY 2021-22 cut off and category-wise links at the bottom of the page.

Select the category link to access the merit list or the result.

The merit list will contain the name of the shortlisted candidates and their application as well as their roll number.
It is to be noted that 0nly selected students will be eligible for the KVPY scholarship.

Candidates must carefully check the accuracy of details to avoid any unnecessary problems. They should inform the authorities if any discrepancy is found.
General Merit and Cut off Marks
The rank list is based on the marks scored by the candidates in the aptitude test and in the interview. 75% is allotted for the aptitude test and the remaining 25% for the interview.

For the SA stream students, the fellowship will be active from 1st August 2021, provided they pursue an undergraduate program in basic science. For SX/SB students the scholarship will be activated from 1st August 2020, if they enrol for a degree in basic science.
The candidates must intimate to the KVPY office by email that they have taken admission to the undergraduate program in basic science on or before 5th September 2020. The necessary forms will be sent to the candidates to fill and submit so as to activate the scholarship.
What Next After the KVPY 2021-22 Result?
Qualified students will be eligible for the next round when the KVPY 2021-22 results are announced. This year, the KVPY interview has been eliminated, and candidates will be awarded scholarships solely on their aptitude test results.
When going for an interview, bring the following documents with you:
- Interview call letter For the SA/SX stream, a certified copy of the 10th grade mark sheet is required.
- SB must submit an authenticated copy of his or her grade 12 report card. SC/ST students receive a caste certificate.
- Physically handicapped students must have a medical certificate.
- A questionnaire for self-evaluation (To be downloaded from the official website)
- The current Institution’s Principal/Head issues a study certificate form.
- Form of teacher recommendation signed by the instructor (in a sealed envelope).
