Jammu and Kashmir Board Class 12 Maths Syllabus

Maths plays a vital role in shaping the students for the more challenging higher education, whether in pure maths or applied maths in professional courses such as engineering. The Jammu and Kashmir Board Class 12 Maths Syllabus, which is set by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), is designed to impart quality education the enables the students to successfully prepare for the exams and create for themselves a great platform for further studies in their chosen fields.

An overview of the Maths syllabus of Class 12 of Jammu and Kashmir board indicates that the board adopted the modern syllabus structure as recommended by NCERT and the board also recommends the textbooks by the same council. The syllabus places high emphasis on Calculus which gets close to half of the weightage in terms of the marks allocated. The rest of the chapters get in the range of 10 to 17 marks with the exception of Linear Programming which gets 6 marks.
