Set in1975, the Jammu & Kashmir State Board Of Secondary Education(JKBOSE) upholds the mission of enabling students of the state to realise their full potential. In order to achieve excellence in the development and implementation of the academic plan, it carries out the functions such as conducting public examinations of secondary and higher secondary classes as well as preparing the courses of instruction, syllabi, scheme of studies, curriculum and textbooks as per the National Policy on Education for the School Education for Classes 1 to 12.  JKBOSE Class 8 is a very crucial stage in a student’s life as this class forms the base for learning topics and concepts that will be discussed in detail further on in higher classes such as 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. Hence, students are advised to prepare well for the Jammu and Kashmir Board Class 8.
