Karnataka Board 1st PUC Physics Blueprint
Formative Assessment Marks Weightage -1st PUC Physics
For the formative assessment, the IC – Internal Choice Question should be framed from the same chapter at the same level of difficulty. The 4 Marks question can be split into (3+1) and 5 marks question can be split into (3+2) or (4+1). The questions are to be set for 37 marks and the questions to be answered for 25 marks.
Summative Assessment Marks Weightage -1st PUC Physics
In the summative assessment, the questions are taken from 10 units, including Physical World and Measurement, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves, and so on. The marks weightage allotted per unit and chapter wise is given in the image below:

Formative Assessment Marks Weightage -1st PUC Chemistry
The questions for formative assessment are taken from the first two units, Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry and Structure of Atom. The Marks allotted for questions from unit 1 are 22, and that from unit 2 is 15.
Summative Assessment Marks Weightage -1st PUC Chemistry
The questions for the 1st PUC summative assessment Chemistry are taken from 14 units. The type of questions asked includes IC— Internal choice, VSA— Very Short Answer (one word/ one sentence) and SA —- Short Answer questions. This 3 hr 15 min question paper is of maximum 70 marks.

From the Karnataka Board 1st PUC Biology Summative Assessment Blueprint, it is seen that the questions are taken from 5 units, Diversity of Living Organism, Structural Organization in Plants, Animals, Cell Structure and Function, Plant Physiology and Human Physiology. 40% of the marks are awarded for knowledge, 30% of the marks for understanding, 15% each for application appreciation and expression skills.
