MHT CET 2023 or Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is a state-level examination conducted by the Government of Maharashtra (Directorate of Technical Education) for facilitating admissions in various full-time degree courses of engineering, Pharm.D, pharmacy, and agricultural.
The students are granted admission in these courses offered by different colleges and institutes present in the state of Maharashtra. MH CET 2023 was conducted offline in the 2nd week of May 2023.
MHT CET admits card 2023 were made available on the official website from the first week of May to the last week of May. Every year around 4.5 lakh students appear for this examination, therefore, to ensure the successful completion of the examination, it is important for students to understand the examination pattern and prepare a proper preparation strategy.

Application Fee
MH CET 2023 application fee for general category candidates is Rs. 800 and for reserved category candidates the application fee is Rs.600. The application fee can be paid online through Internet Banking, Debit Card (Visa/RuPay/Maestro/MasterCard), Credit Card, Cash Cards, IMPS, etc.
MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2023
Given below is the detailed information on MH CET eligibility criteria for Engineering, Pharm.D and Pharmacy courses:
- Students who have passed HSC or class 12 board class examination or any other equivalent examination can apply for this examination (Indian Nationals Only).
- There are no age criteria for appearing in MHT CET Common Entrance Test.
- The students appearing for HSC or class 12th board examination in the year 2023 are also eligible for appearing in this examination.
MHT CET Exam Pattern
MH CET 2023 exam consisted of three question papers of Multiple choice questions (MCQ). Each Paper had a time duration of 90 minutes and the examination was conducted in offline mode. The question paper was in English, Marathi, Urdu languages for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The Maths paper (Paper 1) was in English only.
- For Engineering Courses: Paper 1 and Paper 2
- For Pharm/D or Pharmacy courses: Paper 2 and Paper 1/ Paper 3 Â (any or both)
Each paper was be of 100 marks. There was no negative marking, however, the difficulty level of questions was comparatively similar to that of JEE Mains and NEET.

MH CET Syllabus 2023
MH CET syllabus is designed by the Directorate of Technical Education based on the class 11th and 12th physics, chemistry, biology, and maths syllabus prescribed by the state board of Maharashtra. In the MHT CET syllabus around 20% of weightage is given to the class 11th topics and the rest 80% of the weightage is given to the class 12th topics. MH CET Cutoff
MHT CET cutoff is published by DTE (Directorate of Technical Education) for each Centralised Allotment Process round. The category wise and institute-wise MH CET cutoff will be released separately for both Maharashtra and All India candidates. The candidates who will clear the prescribed MHT CET cut off marks 2023 will be allowed to sit in the counselling session for seat allotment. The factors that will be considered while determining the MH CET Cutoff marks 2023 are:
- The total number of students appeared in MHT CET 2023.
- The difficulty level of the question paper.
- Seat availability in different courses.
- Previous year MH CET cutoff trends.
MHT CET Counselling 2023
After the announcement of MH CET results, the students will be called for the counselling procedure. The counselling will begin from the 1st week of July (Tentative for 2023). The Documents Required for successful completion of MHT CET Counselling 2023:
