CBSE extended the deadlines of NEET Registration 2018 from the 9th of March (Friday) to 12th of March (Monday) 2018 till 5.30 pm. After making several changes to the eligibility criteria primarily declared in the Information Bulletin of NEET 2018, the decision was made to ensure that the aspiring candidates can successfully submit the online application form without any confusion. The applicants can deposit NEET application fee till 13th of March 2018 (11:50 PM) and the correction window (one-time) will be available from 15th of March to 17th of March 2018. Given below are some of the significant changes made in the 2018 NEET Application process due to the intervention of the Supreme Court:
1. Open School and NIOS students are conditionally eligible to apply for NEET Undergraduate (UG) 2018.
2. The Honourable Supreme Court scrapped the mandatory requirement of Aadhaar card number for the enrolment of students appearing in NEET 2018 and other national level exams. Now, the candidates can mention alternative Identification Numbers such as Passport, Ration Card, Government ID like Voter ID, Driving License, etc.
