UGC NET 2022 exam registration deadline: The deadline to apply for The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, is winding up on 20 May 2022. Applicants who have still not applied should start applying as soon as possible through the UGC NET registration portal which is available on the official website ugc.net.nta.nic.in. that will close by 11:59 p.m. on 20 May 2022.
The correction window would open on May 21, 2022, and candidates would have time until May 23, 2022, to make changes. The date of the examination is yet to be announced but since most of the NTA exams are being held in the month of July, this exam will also be held at the end of July, as stated by UGC Chairman previously.
The UGC NET application 2022 is a combined one for December 2021 and June 2022. The exam is held twice a year, but due to the pandemic the council has been able to conduct it only once a year.
Graduate students who wish to apply for the role of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship positions can take this exam. The exam is used as a recruitment criteria for various public sector organizations.
How to apply for UGC NET?
- Visit the official website of UGC NET 2022.
- In the submission portal, click on the new candidate’s registration link.
- Fill all the required registration details like Personal Details, Email ID, Phone Number etc.
- Fill the application form with details including Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Communicational Details, Examination Centre, etc.
- Upload your latest photograph and signature.
- Now for the final step, pay the fees.
- Take a printout of the fee receipt and final application form.
