NEET 2020 Updates - What After The NEET Application Process?

What After The NEET Application Process

The application process for NEET exams has finally been concluded yesterday, i.e., on 9th February 2020. Initially, NTA (National Testing Agency), the conducting board for NEET exams had commenced the application process for NEET 2020 from 2nd December and was concluded on 31st December 2019. But the date was extended to 6th January 2020.

However, in view of receiving an overwhelming number of requests from registered candidates citing reasons for not being able to complete the application process, the board decided to reopen the window for fee payment.

The window was active from 3rd February 2020 until 9th February 2020 (11:50 pm). This was the last opportunity for students to complete the process.

Now that the application process has ended, students are waiting to hear about the next update on NEET. So here is the latest. The NTA will now carefully review the applications received and commence its process of admit card generation for NEET candidates. As per the line up of events, the NEET Admit card 2020 will be made available to download from 27th March 2020 onwards. The last date to download the admit card is 3rd May 2020. It can be downloaded from the official website for NEET – ‘ntaneet.nic.in’

Once the exam is concluded, the NTA will release the OMR sheet and answer key. Students can verify the answers and raise objections in case of any discrepancy. Once these objections are received and verified, a final answer key is prepared and results are declared which is scheduled on 4th June 2020.

Stay tuned with BYJU’S for the latest NEET update.
