BPSC AE civil exam postponed

Bihar Public Service Commission has decided to postpone the exams for Assistant Engineer (Civil) exams due to “unavoidable reasons.” The exam which was under the advertisement number 7/2020 has been rescheduled.

Through an official notice issued on the website of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), the commission has officially announced the decision to postpone the Assistant Engineer (Civil) written examination which was earlier scheduled for 12 and 13 June 2022. The new dates for the exam have not been announced yet.

The aim of this exam is to fill 245 vacancies in Bihar Public Service Commission. The notice does not mention the reason behind the postponement of the exam. Although the notice does mention that the dates will be announced soon.

Candidates should keep checking more updates related to the exam which will be available on the official website.

Therefore it is advisable for candidates who’ve cleared the Assistant Service prelims exams but still haven’t filled the application for the BPSC Assistant service mains exams should do so before 26 May 2022. After the deadline applications won’t be accepted.

Applicants should keep a check on the fact that the Assistant Engineer written examination which is under the advertisement number 7/2020 has been postponed, whereas there is no such news for the BPSC Assistant Engineer (Civil) exam for advertisement number 3/2022

The BPSC Assistant Engineer (Civil) exam for advertisement number 3/2020 is still scheduled for 2 and 3 July 2022 and Assistant Engineer examinations for Electrical and Mechanical branches are scheduled for July 2 and 3, 2022.

As per the usual pattern, after the mains exam the selected applicants will be called for the interview session. After the interview selected candidates will become BPSC Assistant Engineers.

  • Click on the relevant link, on the homepage
  • In the redirected page enter all the required details
  • Upload documents, such as address proof, educational credentials, signatures, and pay the application fee
  • Submit and take a print of the hardcopy of the application form for future reference
