The wait has come to an early end for the students who want to get admission to MD, MS, and diploma courses in medical colleges, as National Board Examination in Medical Sciences, NBEMS, has announced the NEET PG 2022 result 10 days prior. As per the record released, Dr. Shagun Batra has acquired AIR 1, followed by Dr. Joseph in second position and Dr. Harshita in third. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website.

The competition was not easy as a total of 1,82,318 applicants had appeared for one of the most competitive exam that is held in the country i.e. National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates. Around 849 centres were arranged by the board for the examination which was conducted on 21 May 2022.

The merit list will be released separately and the score card will be available 8 June, 2022 onwards. Candidates should note that the result is subjected to document verification and is provisional. The result of cutt off has been announced. Candidates who have acquired the given cutoff will be called for counselling.

Union Health Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya appreciated the efforts of the board for announcing the result 10 days prior to the announced provisional date. For the next step in the procedure of admission, selected candidates will have to register for counselling. Only a month has passed since the Medical Counselling committee completed the counselling for NEET PG 2021 batch, the delay has been caused due to covid-19 pandemic.The committee will announce the schedule for counselling as soon as it covers the gap which has been caused in postgraduate education because of 2 years of pandemic.

How to check NEET PG result?

Step 1: Visit the official website nbe.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on NEET PG.

Step 3: Click on the Results link, on the page.

Step 4: Check the results through the PDF which will be displayed on the screen.
