FMGE 2022: As per the latest notification released by the National Board of Education (NBE), the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December exam date has been postponed. The examination has now been scheduled to be conducted on January 20, 2023. The official notification is available at nbe.edu.in.

According to the information mentioned in the notification, the board has taken the decision to postpone the examination because the Delhi State Election Commission is going to conduct the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections on December 4, 2022.

The NBE has also announced that, in order to give a second chance to the candidates to submit any missing or incomplete documents (proof of possessing primary medical qualifications, attestation of primary medical qualification certificate by Indian Embassy concerned/apostille, eligibility certificate/admission letter, identity proof of citizenship, etc.), NBEMS will issue a list of applicants who have failed to correct any mistake in the documents.

The window to correct the application forms will open on December 24, 2022, and will close on December 30, 2022. Candidates must note that this is the last chance to rectify their mistakes.

Candidates who are appearing for the examination will be able to access the demo test tentatively on January 10, 2023. The NBE will issue FMGE December 2022 admit cards on January 13, 2023. The expected date for the declaration of the result is February 10, 2023.

The screening test will be conducted in June and December, annually, for Indians with medical degrees from foreign universities to check their eligibility to practise medicine in India. Candidates are encouraged to visit the official website for more information.
