The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) is doing a recruitment drive to fill up 4070 district cadre posts of nursing officers. The portal to online applications is open on OSSSC's official website, www.osssc.gov.in.
As per the official notification, the registration and re-registration process which commenced on will end on June 7, 2022. Although the candidates can submit their application forms till June 12, 2022.
Those who will be selected through the recruitment drive will be taken to 30 district establishments and 13 medical colleges and hospitals under the health and family welfare department of Odisha.
The initial appointee on monthly remuneration is Rs 15,000, for those appointed onto the position. After some time period on the job, after the appointee is established as a regular employee, a salary draw will increase in the pay scale from Rs 29200 to 92300 (Pay matrix level 8, Cell-1).
The eligibility criteria for the candidates entails having passed Plus 2 alongside a diploma in GNM/BSc nursing from any recognised medical college and hospital.
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 38 years from the date of notification. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/ Women category.
