Registration for CLAT 2022 counselling ends today

The first provisional merit list for CLAT 2022 will be released on June 30, 2022, while the second and third merit lists will be issued on July 7 and July 12, 2022, respectively. CLAT 2022 CLAT 2022: The last procedure for admission to the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) began on June 25, 2022, with the commencement of the registration for CLAT Counselling 2022. Deadline to register for the CLAT 2022 counselling process is today, June 27, 2022. Students who have still not registered are advised to do it before 12 a.m. tonight. The dates for the counselling round will be available on the official website. CLAT 2022 was conducted on June 19, 2022 for 56,472 candidates. A total of 131 examination centres were arranged across the country. Mentioned below are the steps through which candidates can apply for CLAT Counselling 2022.

Steps to apply for the counselling process of CLAT 2022

  1. In order to register for the CLAT 2022 counselling process, visit consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  2. Enter the login credentials and then click on "Submit."
  3. Fill in the required information to complete the application form.
  4. Make the payment and then click on "Submit" again.
  5. Check all the details and download the confirmation page for future reference.
The official notification statement, which has been issued by the Consortium, has advised the candidates to confirm whether they have been invited to the counseling process after logging in to the website. After this, a confirmation email or SMS will be sent to the qualified applicants in order to invite them for counseling. Applicants can register for CLAT 2022 counselling after that. The consortium won’t be held responsible for the non-delivery of the confirmation notification. Applicants from the general category will have to make a payment of Rs 30,000 in order to reserve the seat, whereas candidates from the reserved category will have to make a payment of Rs 20,000. This is only for those candidates who have successfully completed the application process. The council has also advised the candidates to exercise a minimum of five options while selecting the NLUs and then make the payment. According to the information released, the first provisional merit list will be released on June 30, 2022, while the second and third merit lists will be issued on July 7 and July 12, 2022, respectively. The merit list for CLAT 2022 will be released during counselling. CLAT is held once a year to offer admission to 23 NLUs across the country. Around 2,800 seats are allotted in the 5 years integrated course, the LLB programme, and in the LLM programme, around 850 seats are allotted. The seats are allotted on the basis of the results of CLAT.
