TANCET 2022 Results have been declared by the Anna University

The bell of results have rang in Tamil Nadu, as Anna University has declared the result for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2022. The TANCET 2022 result includes the rank secured, marks scored in the entrance exam and qualifying status. Applicants can check the results on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.

Results of some students are on hold because there is some issue with their photo/signature. Candidates can connect with the authority on their official email id, tancetau@gmail.com and send the required details. They must ensure to mention their application/registration number in the same email.

The normalisation process will be followed in order to allot the scores to the candidates, as it helps in balancing the scores and judging at par. Candidates can use the normalisation formula mentioned below in order to check their scores.

Normalisation Formula:

Normalised Marks = 40 + (10/s) (r - m)

  • m stands for mean
  • s stands for standard deviation (is created using raw scores)
  • r stands for raw scores

  • Step 2: Click on the direct link available on the homepage to check the TANCET result.
  • Step 3: Enter the login credentials.
  • Step 4: On the redirected page the results will be displayed.
  • Step 5: Check, download and print the result for future reference.

Selected candidates will be considered for the TANCET counselling process. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of results and GATE scores. Separate merit list is prepared for TANCET and GATE qualified students by the official authority.

Anna University conducts Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) every year for the admissions to Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Engineering (M.E), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Architecture (M.Arch), Master of Planning (M.Plan). This year's TANCET 2022 exam was conducted on May 14 and 15 at various exam centres across the state.
