UCEED 2023 registrations to begin from 30 Sept, 2022; Exam on 22 Jan, 2023

The Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED), 2023 registration process is going to begin from September 30, 2022. Candidates have time till October 29, 2022 to submit the application form.

UCEED 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay is going to commence the registration for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED), 2023. Those who are interested can visit the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in, to apply. Candidates are advised to read all the instructions provided before applying.

According to the information mentioned in the official notification, the deadline for registration with regular fees is October 21, 2022. Candidates will have time from October 22, 2022 to October 29, 2022 to register with late fees. The admission card will be issued on January 13, 2023. As per the schedule released, candidates can make corrections to their admit cards till 5 pm on January 17, 2023.

The examination has been scheduled to be conducted on January 22, 2023. The exam shift will start at 9 am and continue till 12 pm. The provisional answer key will be released on January 24, 2023. Candidates will have time till January 26, 2023, till 5 p.m. to raise objections to this.

The authorities will release the final answer key on January 30, 2023, after resolving all the objections raised on the provisional answer key. The cut-off marks and results will be declared on February 9, 2023 and March 9, 2023, respectively. The scorecard will be accessible for download from March 11, 2023, till June 13, 2023.

The application portal for admission to Bachelor in Design programme will open on March 14, 2023 and will close on March 23, 2022. The seat allotment (round 1) will be conducted on April 10, 2023, followed by a second round of seat allotment, which will be conducted on May 10, 2022. The third round of seat allotment will be conducted on June 10, 2023.

The registration fee for female candidates and those who belong to SC/ST/PwD category is Rs 1800, whereas for all the other candidates it is Rs 3600. In the case of foreign candidates, the registration fees have been set at $350 (SAARC nations) and $450 (non-SAARC nations).

The maximum age limit to apply for the programme is 24 years of age. There is a five-year relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates. According to the guidelines released, a candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two consecutive years. The UCEED score is valid for only 1 year. Candidates from all streams are eligible to appear for the examination.
