UPPSC PCS Final Result 2021 released; Atul Kumar Singh declared as topper

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has declared the result for Provincial Civil Service Examination, PCS-2021. A total of 627 have successfully cleared the examination.

UPPSC PCS Final Result 2021: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the final result for the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination-2021, which is also known as the Provincial Civil Service Examination, PCS-2021. Candidates who appeared for the examination can visit the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in.

According to the information received, there are a total of 678 vacant posts of 29 types. According to the statement made by the UPPSC secretary, Alok Kumar, a total of 627 candidates have successfully cleared the examination. Atul Kumar Singh has managed to secure rank 1 in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services, PCS 2021 Exam.

The commission may have found suitable candidates for the 627 vacant posts, but it failed to find candidates for the remaining 51 vacant posts, which include two posts of labour enforcement officer and 49 posts of principals of government intermediate colleges. As a result, the positions still remain empty.

Candidates must note that out of all the candidates who have been declared successful, 120 have been declared qualified on a provisional basis as they have not yet cleared the document verification round. As per the information received, the selection commission will soon send the names of the shortlisted candidates to the State Government.

Then the state government will share a cut-off list which will be prepared on the basis of the marks secured by candidates as well as post and category. Mentioned below are the posts for which suitable candidates have been found:

  1. Deputy Collector
  2. The Deputy Superintendent of Police
  3. The Block Development Officer
  4. Assistant Regional Transport Officer
  5. Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax)
  6. Homeguards of the District Commandant
  7. Treasury Officer/Accounts Officer (Treasury)
  8. Cane Inspector and Assistant Sugar Commissioner,
  9. UP District Cane Officer, UP Agriculture Service Group "B" (Development Branch),
  10. Deputy Jailer, etc.

According to the information shared by the concerned officials, selection of 3 kinds, consisting of 55 posts out of the 29 kinds, is based only on written exams, while the selection process for the remaining 26 kinds of posts also includes interview rounds, which were conducted by the commission between July 21 and August 5, 2022.

The Provincial Civil Service Examination, PCS-2021, was conducted at examination centres which were located across Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Ghaziabad. The examinations were conducted between March 23 and March 27, 2022 . According to the data released, a total of 5,957 candidates appeared for the examination. PCS (Mains)-2021 were declared on July 12, 2022. A total of 1285 candidates cleared the examination, out of which 25 candidates did not appear for the interview round. As a result, they were debarred from the selection process.
