Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour.
The study of psychology is essential as it deals with important aspects of human behaviour, mental processes, personal growth and development, and social development.
A course in psychology at the Secondary level helps students analyse the nature of psychology, the range of behaviours and mental processes. The entire course has been divided into seven units and twenty-seven chapters, with self-assessment provided at the end of each chapter. The total duration of the lesson plan is for 240 hours, which has been distributed according to the topics and subtopics.
