CREST Reasoning Olympiad

CREST Olympiads is a significant online Olympiad organisation in the United States. The purpose of the CREST Olympiad programme is to test students’ knowledge and help them apply what they’ve learnt in various settings while also honing their analytical skills so that they can comfortably face any competitive examination. CRO is one of the best venues for children to learn and develop their reasoning and thinking skills.

The Olympiad helps students identify their strengths and weaknesses based on their national achievements. The CREST Reasoning Olympiad (CRO) is a worldwide online competition for children in grades 1 to 10. For all classes, there will be just one level. The exam is a 60-minute objective-type test that students must complete. In this article, we will discuss the CRO exam 2022 in detail.

CRO Registration 2022-2023

Students in grades 1 to 10 are able to compete at CRO. Students can enrol via the school or independently. A prospectus comprising registration forms for the school registration will be sent to all schools that have registered for the CREST Olympiad. Students that are interested should contact their school’s coordinator. Individual registration is also available for students. On the official CREST Olympiads website, students can apply for individual registration.

Registration Fees for CRO 2022-23

The examination cost for each subject is Rs. 225 for students studying and registering in India. Students studying and staying outside India must pay a charge of $10 (US Dollars).

CRO Syllabus

CREST Olympiad test papers are based on CBSE, ICSE/ISC, and other state board syllabi. The degree of difficulty varies depending on the class. The elementary school curriculum includes themes like analogy, coding, decoding, geometrical forms, embedded figures, odd one out, and so on. The curriculum for higher grades covers themes such as alphabet testing and logic, arithmetic operations, character replacement, analytical thinking, and so on.

CRO Awards and Recognition

  • A certificate of merit will be given to the top 15% of students.
  • The top 5% of students will be awarded a medal and a certificate of distinction.
  • Every school with more than 25 students in the Olympiad class will get a Certificate of Merit for the top three students (registered through school).
  • The top three students in each of the first ten grades will earn an Achievers Trophy and a Merit Certificate.
  • Each participant will receive a digital participation certificate. This information will be available on the participant’s dashboard.
  • If a student satisfies two or more criteria, they will be eligible for a higher prize.
