IOQM is the first step towards the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad. The IOQM is an exam which analyses the potential and understanding of Maths concepts among students. Those who participate in the IOQM can self-evaluate their conceptual knowledge and problem-solving abilities on a local, school, zonal, and worldwide level. The Indian National Mathematical Olympiad allows students to self-assess their performance and obtain different scholarships and rewards for top scores.

On 5th December 2022, the IOQM 2022 Results were released. The results of IOQM 2022 were announced for all grades from Classes 8 to 12. Students can access the IOQM results for 2022 provided at https://www.mtai.org.in/ioqm-2022-2023/.
How to Check IOQM Result 2022?
Students can get the results of the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad 2022 from school or find the IOQM results online by following the steps given below.
- Go to the official website MTAI, https://www.mtai.org.in/
- Click on the IOQM 2022-23 link under the activities tab.
- The Maths Olympiad results will appear on the screen, including the register number, roll number, gender and standard.
- Take a printout of the IOQM results and prepare for the INMO 2023 examination.
What Is after IOQM Result 2022?
The INMO exam has exceptionally challenging problems, and the difficulty level increases with each step of the Maths Olympiad programme. The INMO test has six difficult questions, lasting for four hours. All the questions must be answered on the answer script and submitted along with the rough sheets after the test. INMO registration details are given below.
- Candidates must be aware that there is no registration process separately for INMO. Direct admittance is provided to students who clear the first stage and are awarded IOQM merit awards from the previous year. Based on a range of criteria, 900 individuals are shortlisted for the test.
- If a candidate is interested in taking the INMO test, they should participate in the Regional Mathematics Olympiad 2022 (RMO), and clear it among the highest 30 scores in the country.
- The organising bodies coordinating the Regional Mathematics Olympiad are the CBSE, NVS, and KVS in 25 areas worldwide.

How many students were selected based on IOQM 2022 Results?
- The qualifying criterion was that a candidate should get a score of 30 or above.
- About 628 candidates had scores of 30 or above.
- In this, 332 candidates were from grades 8 to 11, and 296 were from Class 12. As the upper limit of the selections for grades 8 to 11 is 500, the students in these classes scoring 30 or above were selected. It included all girl students who were eligible under the Girls’ quota.
- In Class 12, five candidates were chosen in each region based on the qualifying criterion of the score being 30 or above.
- In the regions where the candidates in the merit list were less than 5, the list included additional students based on the selection criteria.
- 136 students were selected among the Class 12 students.
