The NSO first level of the test is held at the participants’ individual schools. The students should be thoroughly prepared for the exam. Students chosen for level two will take the second stage test a few days following the first. Students who do not qualify, on the other hand, will receive participation certificates. The level one test is based on the Olympiad’s practice papers or workbook level. Students that stick to a strict schedule will be able to pass with flying colours.
The level two test is more difficult and concentrates on key science concepts. The number of advanced-level questions and the complexity of the questions both rise. This would need a thorough understanding and application of the principles. The National Science Olympiad’s level two test details have been released.
