Telangana Board announced plans to conduct the remaining exams for Class 12 on 3 June 2020. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) said that they would be conducting the Class 12 exams for geography and modern language on 3 June 2020.
These papers, which were to be held on 23 March, were cancelled as a result of the lockdown, due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The exams are to be held from 9 am to 12 pm. Students are advised to go to their respective exam halls that were decided earlier with the same hall tickets.
In the meantime, the answer sheets valuation of the Intermediate examinations continued for a second day, on 13 May 2020.
As additional information, the board said that it had come to their notice that the managements of some private or corporate colleges were conducting online classes for Intermediate exams during this lockdown, while also pressurizing the students to pay the second year fees.
The board said that in view of the lockdown, they have not notified the affiliation process and the private colleges have not been affiliated for the 2020-21 year. This makes it evident that these colleges do not have the authority to run the online classes. The colleges are also asked not to pressurize the students to pay the fees.
