UCEED Result 2023

The shortlisted candidates will get a common merit rank, i.e., the All India Rank (AIR). They are considered qualified for the UCEED 2023. However, getting qualified for the UCEED does not promise admission to any of the B.Des courses in the participating institutions. A few instructions that UCEED has provided are mentioned below:

  1. The UCEED portal will display the scores of Part-A for all the participating candidates.
  2. The UCEED will not display the ranks and the total marks of Part-B for the candidates who have not qualified for the exam. However, the score cards will be available for download for all the participating candidates from March 11, 2023, to June 13, 2023.
  3. Candidates’ Part-A responses will be available for download (from the online portal) until the results for UCEED 2023 are declared. Post the UCEED 2023 Results declaration, the downloading of the Part-A individual responses will be disabled, and thereafter, no requests for the same will be entertained.
  4. No hard copy of the results or score cards will be provided to the candidates. They must therefore download the score card from the online portal and get the print-outs of the same for reference during counselling or admission. UCEED will not post or mail the results to any of the candidates.

Note: The UCEED 2023 Results were declared on March 10, 2023. The result card download option was available from March 14, 2023 to June 13, 2023.

Rank List

The shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on the evaluation. UCEED has mentioned a few points regarding the Rank List of the participating candidates, which are given below:

  1. Not all participating candidates will be shortlisted. Only the shortlisted candidates will get a rank and be considered “qualified” for the UCEED 2023.
  2. The Rank List will be prepared based on the combined marks of Part-A and Part-B, i.e., the candidate’s total marks in the UCEED 2023.
  3. Tie-Break Policy: If two or more candidates score the same in UCEED 2023, then the following set of measures/policies will be followed to break the tie between the respective candidates:
  4. The candidate who has secured higher marks in Part-B will be assigned the higher rank.
  5. If policy (a) does not resolve the tie between the candidates, then the candidate who has secured higher marks in Section 2 of Part-A will be assigned the higher rank.
  6. If either of (a) or (b) does not resolve the tie, then the candidate who scored higher in Section 1 of Part-A will be assigned the higher rank.
  7. If the tie is not resolved even after applying the above three policies (a), (b), and (c), then the candidates will be assigned the same ranks.

For any queries, candidates can write to uceed@iitb.ac.in or call the UCEED helpdesk number at +91- 22-25764063/9093/9094.
