UPSEE counselling 2023 dates will be intimated on the official websites (https://aktu.ac.in and https://upsee.nic.in) after the results of JEE Main.
The UPSEE counselling 2023 schedule can be downloaded from the official site. Counselling is conducted by Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University in three UPSEE online counselling rounds and two on spot counselling rounds.
The candidates have to fill the preferred course and institution details on the official website. The candidates are expected to be present at Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University campus for the spot round of counselling. Spot counselling happens after the three rounds of online counselling are over and to fill the remaining vacant seats.

UPSEE Counselling 2023 Process:
Candidates who clear the JEE Main 2023 can apply for counselling. UPSEE counselling 2023 involves the following steps:
1) Registration, payment of counselling fee and uploading documents
- The candidates can enter the required credentials and register for counselling.
- Candidates should pay the counselling fee.
- Documents required of UPSEE counselling that have to be uploaded:
- JEE Main Rank Card 2020
- Class 10 and Class 12 passing certificate & mark sheet
- Rural weightage certificate (if applicable)
- Category certificate
- Sub-Category certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Domicile certificate of parents (for candidates who appear for qualifying exams in any state outside U.P)
- Character certificate
- Â Medical certificate
2) Document verification
Documents of the candidates are verified by the concerned authorities.
3) Online choice locking
Candidates can log in to the official website and fill the details of their choice of colleges and courses.
4) Seat Allocation
Once the choice of institutions and courses are locked by the candidate, seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of merit of candidates, availability of seats for the particular category in institutions and course preference of candidates.
5) Online Willingness(Freeze/Float/withdrawal)
Candidates have the following options after the seat allocation

- Freeze: Candidates should select the freeze option if he/she is satisfied with the seat allotted.
- Float: Candidates should click on the float option if he/she wants to upgrade.
- Withdrawal: Candidates can select a withdrawal option if the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat and he/she isn’t interested in further counselling rounds.
6) Physical reporting of the candidate at allotted institutions
Candidates who freeze their allotted seat should report at the institutions on the dates specified to confirm admission.
UPSEE Spot Counselling
Spot round of counselling is conducted after the three rounds of online counselling. Spot round is conducted to fill the vacant seats in the institutions. Candidates are expected to be present physically at the venue. Candidates who are not allotted a seat in online counselling and the candidates who were allotted seats but have not confirmed admission can opt for spot counselling
