UPSEE (UPCET) 2023 FAQs

AKTU used to conduct a state-level entrance exam called UPCET (formerly known as UPSEE) for admissions to various UG and PG courses in fields like Engineering, CSIT, Management, Pharmacy, etc. However, for UPCET 2023, other national level exams like JEE Main, NATA, and CUET will be replacing it for admission to colleges affiliated with AKTU, MMMUT, and other state universities in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have valid JEE Main/ CUET/ CUET PG scores are now eligible to participate in UPCET 2023 Counselling, which is now known as UPTAC 2023.

Q1: From where will I get the application form for UPSEE (UPCET)?

Answer: Candidates should fill the Application Form online through the website https://upsee.nic.in.

Q2: What is the eligibility criteria for UPSEE (UPCET)?

Answer: The students who have passed their qualifying examination from an institution located in Uttar Pradesh or whose parents are domicile of U.P  are eligible to apply for UPSEE (UPCET).

Q3: What is the age limit for admission into various courses covered under UPSEE (UPCET)?

Answer: There is no age limit for admission to the courses covered in UPSEE (UPCET). 

Q4: What are the documents to be uploaded while filling the application form?

Answer: Candidates filling the online Application Form are required to upload scanned images of his/her latest colour photograph and signature. Application forms having blurred photographs are liable to be rejected. 

Q5: Is there a correction window to make changes in the application form?

Answer: Yes, the correction window will be there.

Q6: Who conducts the UPSEE (UPCET) Entrance exam?

Answer: UPSEE (UPCET) will no longer be held from the next academic session 2021-22. JEE Main will be replacing the state level entrance exam UPSEE (UPCET).
