In a recent announcement, the Education Minister of AP, Adimulapu Suresh confirmed that the AP SSC exams will commence in July 2020, contrary to the earlier news. From the announcements earlier, the exams were expected to begin, as soon as the lockdown ends.
However, in an announcement that provided relief to a lot of students, it was said that the AP Class 10 exams will be conducted in July. Official time-table is expected to be out later.
The AP SSC exams were to be held by the AP BSE in March, which got delayed as a result of the local elections at first and then later again due to the Corona virus lockdown. The decision to conduct the exams in July was taken so that the students can prepare well for the exams.
