CAIIB Notification 2023 – Who is Eligible to Apply?
The IIBF states that the CAIIB eligibility requirements are as follows:
- Candidates must have passed either Part 1 of the Associate Examination or the JAIIB.
- The candidate must currently work at IIBF.
- The candidate’s membership should not be in arrears.
Number of Attempts:
Within a period of two years, the candidates are permitted to make four (4) consecutive attempts to take the CAIIB Examination.
Applicants will need to re-register themselves if they fail the exam four times in a row.
Applicants who re-enrol themselves will not be given credit for any previously passed CAIIB subjects.
CAIIB 2023 Notification – Exam Pattern
For applicants who will be taking the upcoming exam in 2023, IIBF has issued the latest CAIIB exam pattern.
- The exam will be conducted online for all the exam papers
- Total number of papers – 5
- Total exam duration – 2 hours
- Medium of the exam – The candidates can choose either English or Hindi at their convenience
- Question types -Objective type
- Total questions: 100
- Negative marking – Not application, so the candidates can attempt all the questions in the question paper.
- The pattern of the questions: Knowledge Testing, Conceptual Grasp, Analytical & Logical Exposition, Problem-Solving and Case-Study Analysis
Passing Marks:
The officially prescribed passing mark for the CAIIB exam is as follows:
- The candidates have to score 50 out of a possible 100 marks to pass the exam.
- If the candidates score a minimum of 45% in each of the subjects and an aggregate of 50% in all the subjects, then they will also complete the exam with passing marks.
