What are sprouts?

Sprouts usually germinate or partially germinate from seeds. A sprout has a stem, root and seed. They can be consumed entirely. First, the seeds are soaked overnight in water. Due to high humidity and moisture, the seed starts to germinate. Sometimes the seeds are also sprouted in water-soaked cloth bags. It is a form of rawism or raw food diet.

What are microgreens?

Microgreens are leafy or vegetable greens. They are usually harvested after the development of cotyledon leaves. These microgreens are considered as a baby version of mature plants. They serve as a high source of nutrition and are also used as a food garnish. They give intense flavour to the food. They grow to a height of one to three inches, along with their partially developed leaves. These microgreens are highly nutritious and contain most of the key elements such as vitamin C, K, E, A, etc.
