The Central Board of Secondary Education has launched a Mathematics practice book on its official website on 7th October 2020. The practice book has been launched to promote and inbuild critical thinking and problem solving skills in CBSE students. The book is designed for students of class 7 to 10. The Mathematical Literacy: Practice Book will help students examine the problems related to real-life situations and help them solve such problems.
The Mathematics Workbook is designed in such a way that students can understand the concepts by themselves and solve the mathematical problems with minimal support of teachers or parents. The book is available for download on CBSE official website as well as on the DIKSHA portal. For students’ ease, we have provided a direct link to download the Mathematics Practice book below.
Solving the questions of the mathematics workbook will be exciting learning to students. They will enjoy working in this Practice Book, especially during the time when regular classes/schools do not resume. The book also provides an opportunity to students to explore their reasoning and quantitative skills during this time of COVID-19.
We hope this information on “Launch on Mathematics Practice book by CBSE” has helped students. This year CBSE has also made changes in the syllabus. The board has reduced the syllabus for class 9 to 12 by 30% for the academic year 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, students are advised to study as per the revised syllabus.
