CBSE has released an official notification on its website regarding the CBSE Board Exam 2021. The board has decided to postpone the class 12 exam and to cancel the CBSE Class 10 exams. The decision has been taken due to the increasing number of COVID cases nationwide. Students can get the complete details here. CBSE Board Exam 2021 Update: 12th Exams Are Postponed, 10th Exams Cancelled PDF
The board has stated in the official notification that:
Looking at the present situation of the pandemic and school closures, and also taking into account the safety and well being of the students, it is decided as follows:
1) The Board Exams for Class 12 to be held from 4th May to 14th June 2021 are hereby postponed. These exams would be held thereafter. The situation will be reviewed on 1st June 2021 by the board, and details will be shared subsequently. A notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the exams.
2) The board exams for Class 10 to be held from 4th May to 7th June 2021 are hereby cancelled. The results of Class 10 board exam would be prepared on the basis of an objective criteria to be developed by the Board. Any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him/her on this basis, will be given an opportunity to take the exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the exams.
