The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided against holding re-exam of Class 10 Maths paper, even though the paper was leaked earlier. CBSE has announced that the board will conduct the 12th standard Economics examination on 25th April 2018 for all students except the students in abroad CBSE schools. Students will have to appear from the same centers and using the same CBSE Admit Card.
According to inquiries, it is revealed that the Class 10 Mathematics exam paper leak was restricted to Haryana and Delhi NCR region. Investigators are still working on the details. The Board has decided that the re-exam will not be considered in any other states in India except Haryana and Delhi NCR. CBSE has also mentioned that if it is found necessary to conduct the re-exam after a detailed inquiry, the re-exam will be held in July 2018.
Around 14 lakh students appeared for the class 10 mathematics examination this year. The HRD ministry announced that the final decision on the re-exam of CBSE class 10 maths exam for Haryana and Delhi NCR will be taken in the next 15 days after a detailed inquiry. Students must note that all the remaining exams will take place as scheduled.
