Yes, students with backlogs can surely apply for the upcoming GATE exams. As per the GATE eligibility criteria, applicants who are in their pre-final year or are graduates, are eligible for the GATE exam.
For example, if you pass all your backlogs along with your last year’s exam during the year 2023. You are eligible for GATE 2023.
