Kickstart your preparation by accumulating all your documents in one place so that you don’t have to search for them later. Candidates are required to carry their admit card.
  • It is recommended to check your admit card without any fail. It should include a clear photograph of you, and signature. Remember your admit card is valid only if your picture and signature are clearly visible, and it should be printed on an A4 size sheet using a laser printer.Along with the admit card, students need to carry their ID proof.
  • Be Punctual: Take Care of your Reporting Time: Candidates need to be on time on the exam day. Make sure you reach your exam centre a little earlier.Alert: Applicants will not be allowed to write the paper if they come 30 minutes after the start of the paper.
  • Items to Carry in the Examination Hall: Along with the GATE admit card and ID proof, candidates are allowed to carry a few more items with them, including a pen, a pencil, a water bottle and a hand sanitiser.

GATE 2023 Examination COVID – 19 Important Guidelines

  • When it comes to COVID – 19, the face mask has become an important part of our lives. Candidates need to put a face mask at the exam centre. Make sure the face mask is in the accurate position and both your nose and mouth are properly covered.
  • The GATE 2023 exam authorities will conduct a thermal health setup. Before making an entry into the exam hall, candidates need to undergo thermal checking.
  • If an applicant is found positive for COVID-19 on the exam day, then he/she will not be permitted to enter inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates with early symptoms of COVID – 19 or having fever higher than 99.4 degrees, runny nose, or cough will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. They need to go to the isolation area.
