The CTET Certificate 2023 is issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) through the DigiLocker platform. CTET Certificate 2023 Download Date

CTET 2023 certificate can be downloaded from the Digilocker app for the recent CTET exam conducted from December 2022 to February 2023.

Aspirants must note that CBSE will not send CTET mark sheets and certificates to candidates via post. The CTET certificate will be available on the Digilocker app. CTET Jan 2023 result was declared on March 3, 2023. Qualifying Marks and Award of CTET Certificate 

Candidates can find the following details about the qualifying marks and CTET certificate.

The qualifying mark of CTET is 60% for the general category, while it is 55% for the reserved category. Candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks to pass the exam and get the CTET certificate.

Candidates must obtain a least 90 out of a possible 150 marks in their attempt paper.

CTET Certificate Important Details

(a) School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to persons belonging to SC/ST,OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy and decide if they want to accept CTET certificate. 

(b) School authorities should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. 

Applicability of CTET certificate

  •  The CTET certificate is applicable to be used in schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.)and schools under the administrative control of UTs of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman&Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and NCT of Delhi. 
  • CTET may also apply to unaided private schools, those who have the option of considering the CTET. 
  • Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET. 

Validity of CTET certificate

The CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be valid for a lifetime in all categories. There is no limit to the number of times a person can attempt to obtain a CTET certificate. A person who has qualified for CTET may reapply in order to enhance his or her score.

CTET Certificate & Marksheet

CBSE will provide all candidates with the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) mark sheets and eligibility certificates in digital format in their DigiLocker account. According to the IT Act, the mark sheets and eligibility certificates will be digitally signed and will be legally valid. 

To improve security, the mark sheets and eligibility certificates will also include an encrypted QR Code. The DigiLocker smartphone app can be used to scan and verify the QR code. All current candidates’ DigiLocker accounts will be created, and the account credentials will be provided to the candidates’ CBSE-registered mobile numbers. 

Using the given credentials, candidates will be able to download their digital mark sheets and eligibility certificates.

How to download the CTET certificate from the Digilocker app?

The CBSE will send the DigiLocker credentials (username and password) to the candidate’s registered mobile number through SMS. 

Candidates will be able to access their CTET Exam Certificate from DigiLocker using these credentials.

Here are the steps to download and access your CTET Exam Certificate from DigiLocker:

Candidates have to download the DigiLocker App from Google Playstore.

  • Open DigiLocker and select the Sign-in option.
  • After checking in to the DigiLocker page, a page will appear on your desktop screen or mobile device.
  • Candidates must access DigiLocker using the credentials issued by the CBSE.
  • First-time users must log in using their registration number and other information.
  • For the first time, users must submit their Aadhaar Card number. For verification, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
  • The candidates must then click the Issue Documents option.
  • Candidates must click “Get More Now” on this page.
  • The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) emblem will appear on the screen below once you click “Get More Now.”
  • “Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)” will be displayed.
  • On the displayed screen, select the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi option.
  • After selecting “Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE),” you will be presented with two CTET 2022 options: “Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate” and “Teacher Eligibility Test Mark Sheet.” 
  • Click “Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate” for CTET Eligibility Certificate.
  • Click “Teacher Eligibility Test Mark Sheet” for CTET Mark Sheet.
  • Candidates must choose a CTET certificate.
  • Candidates must enter their CTET Roll Number, Year, and Month, then click “Get Document.”
  • CTET “Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate” OR “Teacher Eligibility Test Mark Sheet” can be viewed and downloaded by candidates.
  • Following that, candidates must provide a default 6-digit security PIN. Their birth date in the format DDMMYY is the default 6-digit security PIN. For instance, if your birthday is August 19, 1995, your 6-digit security PIN will be 190895.
  • Save the CTET Certificate for future use.

Steps to take in case of a login issue

If candidates are unable to log into DigiLocker, they should contact support@digitallocker.gov.in. Please mention your registered mobile number as well as your CTET Roll Number.
