CTET, or Central Teacher Eligibility Test, is for candidates aspiring to be a teacher for students of classes 1 to 8. This is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and is a national level examination. Registration of the candidate is highly essential to appear for the test.

  • Starting date of the application form 2021: 31st October 2022
  • Last date of online application: 24th November 2022
  • The final date of fees submission: 25th November 2022
  • Date of Examination: 28th December 2022 to 7th February 2023

However, the examinations of 11th January 2023, 18th January & 24th January 2023 were postponed.

Documents Required for CTET Online Form 2023

Candidates are advised to keep their documents handy while filling up the CTET online form. To make the process hassle-free, here are lists of documents required:

Application Fee to be Paid for the CTET Online Form

The application fee for the general category candidate was Rs. 1000 for one paper, and for two papers, it was set to be Rs.1200. For the SC/ST candidate, the fee was Rs. 500, and for two papers, it was Rs. 600. Both general and SC/ ST candidates were supposed to give GST charges in accordance with the bank policy.

Photo and signature format

The photograph and the signature that are to be uploaded during the online application must be in JPG or JPEG format. Candidates have to upload scanned copies of their photographs and signature. The size of the photograph should be within 10KB-100KB, and the size of the signature should be 3KB-30KB.
