Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) Exam Call Letter 2021- 2022

After declaring the results of the GPSC Class 1 and Class 2 preliminary exam in January 2022, the Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) opened the online window for candidates to apply for the Main examination, 2021. Candidates can fill in the application form from February 10 till February 24, 2022. The dates of the main written examination are expected to be announced soon.

GPSC Exam Posts 2021

Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) had released the notification for the posts of Gujarat Administrative Service, Class-1, Gujarat Civil Services, Class-1 & Class-2 & Gujarat Municipal Chief Officer Service, Class-2 in 2021. The Main examination, 2021 is yet to be conducted. A detailed list of posts for which the GPSC conducts exams is given in the table below.

Scheme of the GPSC Class 1 and Class 2 Examination 2021-2022

Examination for the Class-I and Class-II posts is conducted by the GPSC in 2 successive phases namely:

  1. Phase 1- Preliminary Examination
  2. Phase 2- Main Examination and Personality Test

Preliminary examination is of objective type and is only a screening test. There is negative marking for each wrong answer. On the other hand, the Main examination is descriptive in nature and there is no negative marking. The marks obtained in the Main written examination and Interview will be used to calculate the final order of merit.

Age Limit for the GPSC Examination

Candidates who are above 20 years of age and below 35 years of age on the date given by the GPSC in its advertisement can apply for the examination. How to download the preliminary and main exam call letter?

You can follow the steps given below to download the preliminary and main examination call letter/admit card.

  1. Visit the official website of GPSC i.e. gpsc.gujarat.gov.in
  2. Click on the ‘Download Call Letter’ tab. A new page comprising the call letter for preliminary and main written examinations will appear.
  3. Click on either ‘Download Call Letter for Preliminary Exam’ or ‘Download Call Letter for Main Exam’.
  4. A new tab will open. You need to fill in the particulars under the heading ‘Select Job’, ‘Confirmation Number’ and ‘Birth Date’. After filling in all the information, click on ‘OK’.
  5. A new window comprising the call letter will open. Select ‘A4 Size’ and ‘Portrait layout’ given under the printer settings and take a print out of the call letter. You can also download the call letter for the interview in the same manner.
