HP Police Constable Exam Result

• This test is a screening test and carries 5 marks. 
• The test is conducted at every district headquarters of the State.
• The test is videographed and the schedule for the test is notified on the official website.
• After the test, a list of eligible candidates is prepared, which is displayed on the notice board in the District SP office.

• This is a qualifying test.
• Result of the test is available at respective District SP offices and is also published online. Candidate’s name, registration number and marks will be displayed in the result.

• • Candidates who clear the PET can appear for the written test.
  • The written test carries a total of 80 marks.
  • Candidates need to score the following minimum qualifying marks to pass the examination
    • General/OBC: 50% Marks
    • SC/ST            :40% Marks
• Result of the written test is published online and is  also available at respective District SP offices. 

• Candidates’ certificates and other relevant documents are checked in this stage. In addition, candidates are awarded marks based on various criteria, which includes educational qualifications, participation in NCC or NSS, international, national or state level sports, possession of LMV driving license etc.
•  It carries 15 marks.

• After completion of the document verification process, candidates have to go through a medical examination conducted by the Medical Board.
• Results of the medical examination will be displayed on the notice boards of concerned District SP offices in the state.

• The verification of character and antecedents of provisionally selected candidates will be carried out by the concerned district police.
