In 2021, notification for the post of Himachal Pradesh (HP) Police Constable was released. The Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) were conducted between November 8, 2021 and January 13, 2021 in different districts. Dates for PST and PET vary for northern, central and southern ranges. The result of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is published online and is also available in respective District SP offices. Candidates whose names appear in the PET list should report for the next stage of the examination on the given date and venue.

Exam Pattern of the HP Police Constable Written Examination 2021-2022
The written exam for the post of the HP Police Constable is of objective type and contains multiple choice questions (MCQs). The question paper carries 80 marks (total) with 1 mark for each question. The duration of the written exam is 60 minutes. The difficulty level of questions for all sections except Mathematics is of class 12th (10+2), whereas the maths section comprises questions of Class 10th level. The exam pattern of the test comprising 5 sections, the number of questions for each section is given in the table below.
