The JKPSC is the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, which administers civil service exams for positions in the administrative, police, and accounting services of Jammu and Kashmir. Number of Attempts for JKPSC

There is a specific number of times that a candidate can attempt the JKPSC Preliminary Exam. Let us see the number of chances you get to clear them-

  • Every candidate who appears for the JKPSC CCE exam is given a total of 6 attempts.
  • But, the limitation on the number of tries is not for the prospects that belong to the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes.
  • 9 shots are given to the applicants who belong to the RBA, Social Castes, and ALC.

Note:

  • An attempt at a Preliminary Examination shall be deemed to be an attempt at the Combined Competitive Examination.
  • If a candidate actually appears in any one paper in the Preliminary Examination, he/she shall be deemed to have made an attempt at the Examination.
  • Notwithstanding the disqualification/cancellation of candidature, the fact of appearance of the candidate at the examination will count as an attempt.
